Network and Firewall Miscellaneous

  1. Phones do use LLDP and CDP by default. If not configured on your network it may need to be disabled on the phone.
  2. Phones can be tagged on a specific VLAN by way of configuration overrides from our servers if needed.
  3. Many firewalls employ SIP ALG in some form. This is harmful to SIP traffic more often than helpful. Research your firewall to determine the best way to disable SIP ALG.
