Logging In


Login using your credentials provided by the Support Team. If you need a password reset, click on Forgot Password. Alternatively, you can create a ticket for a reset if you have difficulty with the password link.

Overview

Upon logging in, you will be presented with this page:

If you ported or requested a number for your vFax Service, you will see it displayed under My Fax Number. If you do not see a number assigned, please create a ticket for TIPS Support.

When you receive a Fax, an email notification with attached fax will be sent to the user's email address. Incoming faxes can also be viewed by clicking on the History option.

Sending a Fax


  1. To send a fax, type the recipients Fax Number in the Fax Number field.
  2. If you have Cover Pages, click the check box and select a cover page.
  3. Under Attachments, attach the document you would like to fax by dragging and dropping the file or by browsing your computer.
  4. Click Send to send immediately or Send later to schedule a fax.            
Here is our list of accepted file formats for faxing:
Adobe Acrobat Documents (PDF)
Microsoft Office Files (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLXS, PPT, PPTX)
Open Office Files (ODT)
Google Files (GDOC, GSLIDES, GSPREADSHEET)
Text Files (TXT, RTF)
Printer Files (PCL, EPS, PS)
Image Files (TIFF, GIF, PNG, JPEG)
Other Files (FXC, FODT, HTML)

Reviewing your fax history

Clicking the History button will list your Inbound and Outbound faxes. Clicking on the Filter key as shown below, will allow you to filter and sort by status, date range, or applicable Faxbridges that are tied to that user.

Clicking on the Ellipsis will display a series of options.

  1. Mark as Read (Incoming) - Mark an incoming fax as read
  2. View/Print - View and print the Fax
  3. Download - Download the Fax Attachment
  4. Forward - Forward the Fax to a different recipient
  5. Info - Statistical Information about the Fax
  6. Archive - Archive the fax (hides it from history)
  7. Post to Webhook - If you are using webhooks for your web application
  8. Post to FTP/STP - Post to your FTP storage

Cover Pages

The cover pages section will allow you to use default Cover Pages or upload your own.

Contacts

Clicking contacts will enable you to add, view, or edit your contacts within your user account. You can also create groups of contacts.
